What to Expect First Visit
Ear, Pulse, Tongue Diagnosis
I look at your ear, tongue, and pulse and then tell you what I see is going on. Then I ask you what are your top concerns and ask you questions about your history.
Acupuncture Nap
I insert hair-thin needles, ask you to move or gently press your abdomen to check for immediate improvements. Then you enjoy a relaxing 20-minute nap.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Depending on your condition I suggest herbal medicine that will help speed up your recovery in-between visits. I have easy to take pills for most conditions.

After 2 years suffering from intense hand pain and found no success with all therapies I tried, I finally found relief with acupuncture.

My background as a software engineer brings an analytical and modern approach to patient care.

Acupuncture is not magic, but it is very effective.
If you have had an issue for a week, maybe one treatment is all you need. If you have been having something for 5 years, it didn’t arrive overnight, so it will not leave overnight.
Chinese medicine looks at addressing the root cause of your condition. It doesn’t matter what the disease is, Chinese medicine can always help you have a better lifestyle in terms of more energy, less pain, decrease in severity of symptoms.
Cure is a curious word. How long does a cure last for? If the treatment makes one symptom better, but creates other worse ones, did you really get cured, or just transformed?
Most people end up sleeping during their treatment as they are so relaxed.
Needles are mostly painless and you don’t feel them. I will tell you if certain needles will have a stronger sensation.
Let me know if you are afraid of needles as I can alter my treatment to prioritize comfort.
Most sessions I treat you with just arms and legs. If you can roll your pants or shirts up to your knees and elbows, then it makes it easy. Skirts and shorts are ideal as well.
Acupuncture does not outsource the diagnosis or treatment to technology.
Compared to western medicine, the quality of the doctor will have an outsize effect on your results.
To understand the condition of your organs or blood we don’t send it to a lab or do x-rays.
We look at you holistically and diagnose how your body is not functioning and how we will initiate change to bring it back to harmony.
